Our love story took shape at Western Carolina University, when two friends decided to pursue each others as lovers. And the rest is history.

Joslyn and William first crossed paths in undergrad, in late 2018 and early 2019. This was during Joslyn's freshmen year and Will's sophomore year. They'd met through common friends brought together by the campus organization, Intercultural Affairs (ICA). With shared experiences, Joslyn became a part of the friend group that Will was and that was when the picking began. Joslyn says that Will has been sprung since day one and of course, Will says the same about her. Despite the picking, the official confession of feelings didn't come until 2021.

It was during Joslyn's junior year and Will's senior year, that the love birds went public. Since then, it's been love, laughter, foodie outings, and loads of patience since they were bound to be long distance with Will's graduation quickly approaching. Joslyn and Will went on to master the art of long distance making intentional efforts to spend time with each other when they could. At times, the couple was 550 miles away from each other while Joslyn worked in Daytona Beach, FL, and Will worked in Raleigh, NC.
After 3 years, the soon to be Joneses had enough, and Will got down on one knee where it all began (at Western Carolina University) and asked Joslyn for forever. She said, "yes!", and now Joslyn and Will would love for you all to say "yes" to joining them in celebrating their private union in September of this year, 2025, with a public celebration to follow in 2026.
